Elizabeth Murphy is a highly effective and resourceful business and transactions lawyer with experience in a broad range of legal and business affairs. Elizabeth specializes in commercial law, sports law, real estate law, and business law. Her experience includes serving as the lead lawyer on negotiations and transactions for high revenue sports matters, leasing, purchase and sale, and land use transactions, broadcasting deals, credit financings on behalf of both lenders and borrowers, and matters addressing corporate formation.
Elizabeth’s extensive experience comes from her role as the Deputy General Counsel for the San Francisco Giants for 16 years and her prior experience as senior counsel in the real estate group of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.
Elizabeth frequently serves as an invited speaker and panelist for educational institutions and continuing legal education providers. She was a member of San Francisco’s Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2004. She currently volunteers her time with the Oakland-Piedmont Chapter of the National Charity League and Bishop O’Dowd High School.
